The backstory.

Storyology is a story and strategy studio. It’s the evolution of one of the first virtual content and PR agencies in the world founded by Jennifer Kite-Powell in 2000 — Spilled Ink —formerly Ink Communications.

Founded in the frothy new world order of the internet, Spilled Ink carved out stories and user-generated content for global clients that were changing the shape of telecommunications, robotics and the burgeoning app world.

Eighty-five percent of the company's clients were acquired by major tech brands—Motorola, Apple, Google, and Microsoft—over the company’s 14-year tenure.

Jennifer brings stories to life, and Storyology picks up where Spilled Ink left off in 2014—reframed by market shifts, transformed by technology, and still driven by a passion for creating meaningful, relevant, and engaging content. Your brand is your story.

Our vision.

“To help inspiring brands and humans share spectacular stories that drive positive change.

Our promise.

We are human (hooray!). We aren’t perfect, but like Elvis Costello said, our aim is true.

We care about our planet and how people are treated. We want to live in a world that eliminates injustices where they exist. We love our fur babies, and we know our hobbies are just as important as the work we create for our clients. We value creation, the magic of silence, and the camaraderie of friends.

Okay, we aren’t usually this serious, but…

We aim to create the best content for you and your brand in a way that recognizes all of our values and yours.

Our ethos.
